FAQ

How long does it take for a tattoo to fully heal?

Initial healing usually takes 2–3 weeks to fully regenerate. During that time, gentle care is essential.

What products should I use during the healing process?

Use tattoo-specific aftercare products—like a fragrance-free balm, lotion, or foaming wash—formulated to soothe, moisturize, and protect new tattoos. Avoid anything with alcohol, fragrance, or harsh chemicals.

Can I shower with a new tattoo?

Yes - please do. Avoid soaking, scrubbing, or exposing your tattoo to direct water pressure. Gently pat dry—never rub.

When can I go back to the gym, pool, or beach?

Wait at least 2–3 weeks, or until your tattoo is fully scab-free and healed. Sweat, chlorine, salt water, and UV exposure can interfere with healing and cause fading or infection.
